The CompTIA Security+ Certification (SY0-301 exam) is a vendor neutral credential. The CompTIA Security+ exam is an internationally recognized validation of foundation-level security skills and knowledge, and is used by organizations and security professionals around the globe.
Our CompTIA Security+ course covers the most current knowledge and skills required for IT professionals working with security concepts, tools, and procedures to react to security incidents. This boot-camp-style course is a lab-intensive program covering a wide range of topics from current known threats and vulnerabilities to fundamentals of cryptography. We provide additional online access to interactive training that features audio segments, lesson activities, additional resources, and virtual labs for an exciting and effective training process.
Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
The CISA designation is a globally recognized certification for IS audit control, assurance and security professionals. The CISA certification is designed for those who audit, control, monitor and assess an enterprise’s information technology and business systems. CISAs are recognized internationally as professionals with the assurance knowledge, skills, experience and credibility to leverage standards, manage vulnerabilities, ensure compliance, offer solutions, institute controls and deliver value to the enterprise. Often, the CISA credential is a mandatory qualification for an information systems auditor.
Certified Information Security Manager
The uniquely management-focused CISM certification promotes international security practices and recognizes the individual who manages designs, and oversees and assesses an enterprise’s information security.The CISM certification is intended to provide a common body of knowledge for information security management; focuses on information risk management as the basis of information security; and includes material on issues that are on a much larger scope (such as how to govern information security) as well as those issues considered practical (such as developing and managing an information security program and incidents).
Certified Ethical Hacker
A Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is a skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security posture of the target system(s). The CEH credential certifies individuals in the specific network security discipline of Ethical Hacking from a vendor-neutral perspective.
Certified Authorization Professional
The Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) credential is an objective measure of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for personnel involved in the process of authorizing and maintaining information systems. Specifically, this credential applies to those responsible for formalizing processes used to assess risk and establish security requirements and documentation. Their decisions will ensure that information systems possess security commensurate with the level of exposure to potential risk, as well as damage to assets or individuals.
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner
The CASP certification is an international, vendor-neutral exam that proves competency in enterprise security; risk management; research and analysis; and integration of computing, communications, and business disciplines. The exam covers the technical knowledge and skills required to conceptualize, design, and engineer secure solutions across complex enterprise environments. It involves applying critical thinking and judgment across a broad spectrum of security disciplines to propose and implement solutions that map to enterprise drivers.
